ITC creating Net base for FMCG marketing

ITC is in the process of creating a net-based platform for distribution and marketing of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), which ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar fashionably called 'infomediary cum fulfillment channel'. The company has already begun web-enabling all its businesses, and plans to eventually turn the platform into one which could be used by other companies in the FMCG sector for distribution and marketing of their products.
