IMC 2015 in Pictures: Industry leaders deliver food for thought for the magazine industry

The second day of the 9th edition of IMC ended on a high note with industry experts deliberating upon various issues and aspects of the magazine industry.

The day started with Google India’s Industry Director Vikas Agnihotri’s session on ‘An Introduction to Digital Workshops’.

Chris Llewellyn, President & CEO, FIPP spoke about ‘Themes for 2015: Key trends arising in this omni-media world and how the magazine media industry is adapting.’

N. Ram, Chairman, Kasturi & Sons & Publisher of The Hindu presented Editor’s Note on opportunities and threats in the world of social, collaborative and response driven media.

Keynote speech was delivered by Praveen Tripathi, Chief Executive, Magic9 Media & Consumer Knowledge.

C.K Ranganathan, Chairman & Managing Director, Cavinkare delivered keynote address on “Why we include magazines as an important part of our investment plans.”

Maheshwer Peri, Chairman & Publisher, Pathfinders Publishing presented a case study on monetising digital platforms.

Jessica Butcher, CMO, Blippar spoke on a session titled ‘Technology : Understanding Interactive Print.’

Girish Ramdas, CEO and Co-Founder, Magzter presented his views in a session called ‘Digital : Readership and promotion - capturing the millennials’.
