Hindi newspaper Hari Bhoomi from Rohtak, Haryana based Hari Bhoomi Communications Pvt Ltd, is all set to launch its edition in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) on October 17, the fifth edition from its stable. The daily has editions in Rohtak, Delhi, Bilaspur, and Raipur. The company is targeting a circulation 40,000 for the Jabalpur edition.

On the content of new edition, Satveer Kataria, Vice-President, Hari Bhoomi, said, “The content would be the same as any national daily. The Jabalpur edition would be a complete Hindi newspaper and will target all segments of the society.”

He further said, “Hari Bhoomi had entered the central India market with its Bilaspur edition in March 2001, which is currently selling 93,650 copies. The second edition was launched in Raipur in October 2002, which is selling 145,438 copies as per ABC figures.”

In a bid to promote the Jabalpur edition of Hari Bhoomi, there would be initial subscription offers on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, besides a bumper prize for regular customers at the end of the year. “Nearly 300 surveyors have worked to collect the subscription data across the region,” Kataria informed.

On the marketing initiatives, he said, “We have done various campaigns in Madhya Pradesh to create awareness in the market about Hari Bhoomi entering the state. We are also advertising through jingles on some FM stations, hoardings, kiosks, bus and auto panels. Goal Communications, a Delhi-based creative agency, is handling our creative duties.”
