Exposure Media Marketing forays into fashion space with ‘The Designer Mode’

Exposure Media Marketing, publishers of ‘Xpressions’ and ‘Asia Spa’, is gearing up to launch its fashion magazine, ‘The Designer Mode’, at the upcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW). ‘The Designer Mode’ will be the official magazine of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).

Targeted at the high end fashion conscious consumer, ‘The Designer Mode’ would be launched at an invitation price of Rs 50, which would be subsequently available at Rs 100 after the magazine becomes two-three issues old, indicated Parineeta Sethi, Publisher and Chief Editor, Exposure Media.

“FDCI wants to promote Indian fashion in the global arena and has given us the contract to publish the magazine for them,” she added.

The 100-page bi-monthly will feature articles for both men and women. Apart from Indian fashion, it will also feature the international fashion trends. Both Indian and international content will get equal presentation in the magazine.

Speaking about the competition, Sethi said, “Our content is going to be much more upmarket. It’s going to be a pure fashion magazine, whereby not only new trends will be talked about, but the magazine will also promote Indian designers. We will let the content talk for itself.”

The estimated circulation of the first issue is expected to be around 35,000 copies. The magazine will be available in the Middle East, too, and talks are on to make it available in South East Asia as well.
