ET Corporate Dossier to launch Guru Yatra – a business book series and seminars from IIM(A)

The Economic Times Corporate Dossier and Global Village Unlimited, New Zealand, have joined hands to initiate Guru Yatra, a seminar series of business books authored by educationists and other high profile alumni groomed at premier B-School, IIM Ahmedabad.

Expressing his views on the initiative, Dr Samir Barua, Director, IIM(A), said, “IIM-A is launching the IIM business book series in November. These are books written for the general audience by our faculty, writing about business in an Indian context. As part of our launch campaign, IIM-A business books have tied up with an international marketing company with an emphasis on knowledge programmes called Global Village Unlimited. They have created an extremely exciting programme for us called the Guru Yatra-IIMA Business Book Seminar series.”

Three hundred corporate heads, who have envisioned their companies and had them spearheading into the changing scope of business management practices, will participate in a unique marketing concept, which will be unveiled at the inaugural dinner to be held on December 8, 2010, in Mumbai.

“The launch of the Corporate Dossier Guru Yatra IIM-A Business Books Seminar Series is slated to be one of the top business networking dinners in Mumbai this year. The concept developed by us to launch these business books and seminar series is unique and will create a new marketing platform,” said Nicola Fenton, Chief Executive Officer, Global Village Unlimited NZ.
