Essel Group appoints Iftikhar Gilani as Editor Strategic Affairs, DNA

Essel Group, the promoter of Mumbai based Daily News and Analysis (DNA) newspaper, has appointed senior journalist Iftikhar Gilani, as Editor, Strategic Affairs. Prior to this role, Gilani was working as National Bureau Chief, DNA.
Gilani was earlier associated with Kashmir Times as its Delhi Bureau Chief and has extensively covered national and international politics.
 
Confirming the news to exchange4media, Gilani said, “In the current geopolitical situation
?? the world ?is ?becoming more like a village? and? the new role offers me more latitude to address issues related to national and international politics. Given the high decibel coverage of political issues in South Asia, I look forward to some exciting and challenging times ahead.”
