Emami Group of companies has deferred the launch of Madhur Dixit range of cosmetic. Called Madhuri’s Beauty Secret, the personal and skincare range was slated for a launch in October.
Owing to recession and declining consumer spends the launch has been rescheduled for February-March 2002. The company had earmarked Rs 25 crore as advertising and marketing budget for the launch.
Confirming the move to postpone the launch, Preety Surekha, brand director said that the decision was taken keeping the market conditions in mind even though the company has been ready with the products.
