Deshdoot Group of newspapers forays into new media platforms

All newspapers of the Deshdoot Group, including Deshdoot, Sarvamat and Deshdoot Times, are now available on all platforms, including the Web, mobile, Facebook, and even as mobile apps on iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry.

A official release issued stated: “Deshdoot Group was already the first Marathi newspaper in India to be available on mobile, but with this latest initiative, Deshdoot is all set to become the first Marathi newspaper in the world to be available on all possible platforms of information.”

It further said that this was bound to bring the Marathi news reading community across the world really close as Deshdoot readers across the world could not only access the latest happenings back home at the click of a button, but also instantly react to them in the form of interactions with others in the community.

The various publications of the Group include Deshdoot (Nashik), Deshdoot (Jalgaon), Deshdoot (Nagar), Sarvamat (Shrirampur) and Deshdoot Times (Nashik).
