Dainik Jagaran has taken another step to make itself analogous to lifestyle. This time it is organizing three events in three different cities on the same day.
Dainik Jagran is using these events as an opportunity to enhance its relationship with its readers. Says Alok Sanwal, GM-Brand Development, "We are already into fulfilling the Information and Education needs of our readers. These events are a means of fulfilling the Entertainment needs of our readers as well, thus, fulfilling the entire gamut of Information, Education and Entertainment needs".
The events will have a live performance by Euphoria in Kanpur, Hans Raj Hans in Hissar and Aryans and Joshilay in Agra. There are quite a few brands that are associating themselves with the events. Toyota Qualis, Bajaj Pulsar, Coca- Cola, Essar Cellphone, Sunfill, Campa and Arena Multimedia are some of them.
For the promotion of the events, Dainik Jagran gave away tickets to its readers through redemption against newspaper cuttings, contests, and the likes of these. Says Sanwal, "These unique schemes and contests go a long way in 'creating excitement around the brand', and enhancing its perceived value in the reader's minds".
The event management wing of Dainik Jagran-DJ Ventures is managing the events.
