Dainik Bhaskar to launch colour tabloid for Maha Kumbhmela

Ujjain, as is known, is gearing up to celebrate the once-in-12-years’ event - the Maha Kumbhmela — Sinhastha. This would be celebrated for a period of one month, starting April 4, the festival would continue till May 5, 2004.

As per Dainik Bhaskar sources, Sinhastha being one of the biggest religious events, over two crore devotees are expected to pay pilgrimage over this one-month period. To provide everyday update on this month-long event, Dainik Bhaskar would be coming up with an exclusive colour tabloid of eight pages everyday at a stand-alone price of rupee one per copy.

The tabloid would talk about the happenings of the day, the facilities available in the city, emergency telephone numbers and other religious information and interests of common nature. In short, the tabloid would be a daily navigator-cum-information bank for the devotees, sources claimed.
