Dainik Bhaskar has launched a six-page supplement City Bhaskar in Jaipur. The supplement was unveiled by film star Urmila Mataondkar in an eventful evening on June 6. The intention is to establish a better connect with the local readers.
City Bhaskar will be available with the daily Dainik Bhaskar for six days a week. Explaining more on the reasons to launch the issue, Sanjeev Kotnala, Sr. GM, Brand Strategy and Communication, said, “It helps us on two counts – one is to build a better relationship with our readers and second is to offer advertisers, looking for a specific vehicle to reach specific targets.”
For the launch of the supplement, Dainik Bhaskar has done strategic outdoor campaign in the city of Jaipur. The campaign aims at presenting the changing city life and the city per se and the attitude toward life.
City Bhaskar is also available in other markets like Indore, Bhopal and Gwalior. “Yes, but given the nuances of Jaipur as a city, there is a need to look at it separately and so this product would be a completely different one,” said Kotnala.
City Bhaskar is the presentation of Dainik Bhaskar created for the readers in the city. It provides with a mix of content, varying from soft city news, selective entertainment and event news.
