Cyber Media considering a new magazine on BPO and ITES

Cyber Media is evaluating the feasibility of launching a new magazine focusing on BPO and ITES. Confirming this development with exchange4media, Shyam Malhotra, Editor in Chief, Cyber Media says, “Well, it is true that we are evaluating the pros and cons at the moment but if everything falls into place then we might look at the launch soon.” Cyber Media is already publishing a small addition on BPO, which comes out with the Voice & Data as a supplement by the name of ‘BPOrbit’.

According to sources, one of the names being considered for the new publication is the same as the supplement ‘BPOrbit’. The magazine would target the BPO and IT industry in India. As to who will head this new venture, Malhotra says, “It is too premature to take any names at this stage.” Talking on the ad edit ratio, Malhotra says, “We are aiming for the standard 40:60 ad–edit ratio.” If things work out, the magazine will be launched around the middle of the year.
