Talking to exchange4media, Mitrajit Bhattacharya said, “I have been associated with AIM as an office bearer for last past four years and hence, it is a gradual transition. Whatever we have been doing as a group, I would like to continue doing that. Having said that, there are a couple of focus areas that we have, first is to get more members on board, particularly from the South and the East.”
He further said, “Second focus area is to step up the developmental work, which as an Association we are supposed to do. You will see a lot more work that will come up in terms of cutting edge proprietary research, which AIM is going to present to the market, which would help the magazine industry as a whole. Apart from these, we will continue to take up issues that we are confronted with on a regular basis – be it with distribution or liaison with the Government or RNI.”
