Businessworld to launch Hotelier International Magazine in India

Businessworld (part of GBN Media Pvt Ltd) has partnered with Hotelier International Media Limited to launch an Indian edition of Hotelier International magazine, the world’s largest business-to-business publication for hoteliers. It has editions across 15 countries with a circulation of 300,000. It has a loyal following among hotel owners as well as businesses that work with hotels, including suppliers, designers, decorators, event organizers and more.

Businessworld-Hotelier International magazine will be a quarterly issue. It is expected to be primarily read by the top management decision makers at all 4 and 5 star hotels in India. Users will be able to subscribe to an interactive e-version of the magazine as well. The digital version of the magazine will be available across desktop, mobile and social platforms. There will be a digital presence with updates happening on real time basis while buildinga forum for the hotel community.

The magazine is expected to hit the stands in Indiaby the end of the second quarter of this year. Its launch will be a gala event that will have the best of the hospitality industry in India and abroad attending it.Businessworld is planning to get the senior team of Hotelier International at the event.

Businessworld was acquired by GBN Media PvtLtd, which is led by AnnuragBatra, in October last year, from the ABP group. Since its acquisition, Businessworld has been working extensively on scaling up its print, online and event verticals and accelerating its presence in a 360 degree manner.

On this occasion Annurag Batra, Chairman of GBN Media, said, “Businessworld and Hotelier International partnership is our first step towards bringing the most interesting news and updates on the hospitality business across India and the world to hoteliers and enable advertisers to reach out to the top-management across best hotels of India. Our events will bring the businesses together and drive thought leadership and new initiatives for the hospitality sector.”

The licence deal was initiated through Cue Ball LLC.

The popular channel from the Viacom18 ‘s umbrella MTV Indies, which aired music by independent artistes, was replaced by MTV Beats, a 24x7 Hindi music channel in 2016
