Bhaskar Group announces Kritikar Bhaskar Creative Awards 2008

Bhaskar Group announced the Kritikar Bhaskar Creative Awards 2008 to recognise excellence in communication developed by the agencies operating in regional markets. Recognising that creative communication is one of the major pillars of success of any business, Bhaskar Group had instituted the Kritikar Bhaskar Creative Awards in 2006. This year, the Awards have added the category of Radio Communication in addition to Print, Outdoor and Direct Marketing. Last date for receiving entries for the Awards is November 30, 2008.

Speaking on the Awards, Rajiv Jaitly, President - Marketing and Ad Sales, Bhaskar Group, said, “I have seen sparks of creative genius in these markets. Though constrained by budgets, talents and infrastructure, they still develop and exploit ideas for the brands. Ideas that are grounded in the reality of knowing the target group a lot deeper and are comparable to agencies in the metros. Bhaskar, through this unique event, continues to encourage and applaud the creativity in these markets.”

The Bhaskar Group aims to encourage the regional agencies to showcase their creative brilliance and continue with their exemplary performance through these Awards.

Realising that the regional agencies do not get a chance to showcase their talent at big events like Emvies and Effies, Dainik Bhaskar and Divya Bhaskar had specially initiated the Kritikar Bhaskar Creative Awards to encourage and applaud the creative brilliance of the regional agencies. These awards are currently for the nine states and a Union Territory that Bhaskar reaches through Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar and Business Bhaskar.
