Amitava Guha, the lovable Goldie da, passes away

Amitava Guha, Goldie da, as he was fondly known, passed away early morning on November 4, 2011, after a prolonged fight with cancer. His cremation will take place at 12 pm at the Lodhi crematorium today.

Amitava Guha was AVP - Media Marketing, International Business at HT Media Group and had had a long stint in the media industry. He was known for his thorough knowledge of the media and advertising industry.

Guha is survived by his wife and daughter.

The entire media and advertising industry has lost a mentor, friend and a thinker. We mourn the loss of Goldie da and pray that God gives strength to his family.
