Advertising trends in Regional Publications during Jan-June 2006 – Part 1: AdEx study

Regional language publications had 41% share in overall advertising in the 1st half of 2006, with Tamil language newspapers garnering the maximum share of 24%. As a category, educational institutions topped advertising in regional newspapers. Significantly, advertising in Supplements saw a 7% rise in 2005 over 2004.
