 R Rajmohan joins Malayala Manorama as CMO (North) & Head- Special Projects

R Rajmohan, former Publisher of OPEN Magazine, has joined Malayala Manorama as Chief Marketing Officer (North) & Head- Special Projects. He will oversee the marketing function for verticals like Print, Radio, TV and Digital.

The Special Projects he is heading entail new initiatives in the English magazine space. 

“I am very glad to have got an opportunity to work with the highly credible, extremely professional and hugely respected Malayala Manorama Group, which is very well diversified into all segments of the media industry, commanding leadership position in each one of them,” said R Rajmohan on his new role.

He stepped down from position as Publisher at weekly current affairs and features magazine Open in September last year.

Prior to joining Open Magazine, R Rajmohan was with Images Consumer Media Group as President and Publisher since 2006.

R Rajmohan has a rich and diverse experience of over two decades, and is widely respected as a seasoned professional in the print industry. He joined Open Media Network, the media venture of RPG Enterprises, in 2010.

 R Rajmohan was elected Vice President of Association of Indian Magazines (AIM) in February, 2014.

He has also had stints with The Times of India, India Today Group, Outlook Group and Hindustan Times.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
