Zee TV chooses ex-O&M Gautam Sengupta to head ad sales

In a prompt strategic move, Zee TV has chosen ex-O&M Kolkata Gautam Sengupta to replace Triveni Das, who has just completed her notice period, resigning from the responsibilities of handling the channel’s ad sales. Sengupta joins Zee TV as Senior Vice President, Sales.

Sharing more on the development, Abhijit Saxena, Business Head, Zee TV, asserted, “With Gautam joining us where Triveni leaves, one thing is for certain – the continuity in the sales function is kept intact. There won’t be any break in the functioning of the sales team.”

As per Saxena, another aspect of the new appointment that he finds works in Zee’s favour is the experience that Sengupta brings in with him. “We are delighted to share the extremely rich background he brings with him. Today, where Zee is poised to leap to the next level, Gautam’s appointment will only help facilitate the jump to success. He is an extremely valuable asset, one we are most pleased to have on board,” he said.

In his professional career, Sengupta has served companies like HLL, O&M Kolkata and Cadbury, amongst others.
