Vivek Sayal, VP Marketing, Hero Honda, has been appointed the new President of the Delhi Advertising Club. The Club has been organising advertising, marketing and media quizzes, focused to bring together the industry professionals on a single platform.
Speaking on his plans, Sayal said, “I have been closely following the Delhi advertising club. I was the Vice-president last year. The Ad Club is really not that happening compared to the Mumbai Ad Club and Calcutta Ad Club. Why should the Delhi Advertising Club be lagging behind?”
He added, “My plans are to make these the Delhi Ad Club Awards more professional and take them to different height so that people can take it more seriously. Youngsters have a good platform to participate in this club. We will have more interactivity in the club every month. We will have advertising professionals, outdoors advertising experts who will give guidance in their fields.”
“We would need more active members in the club. We will rope in all the leading known advertising agencies like JWT, Lowe, etc., in the Ad Club. We will need to bring creditability of the club. The support of the media is important to make this a success,” he further said.
Narendra Sharma is the Secretary of the Ad club, while Rajneesh Gogia of ABP group is the VP of the Ad Club. Usha Guha of Newfields Advertising and K K Malhotra are the Joint Secretaries of the Ad Club.
