Vivek Mhaskar joins Madison India as Director-Commercial

Madison India has appointed Vivek Mhaskar as Director-Commercial. Prior to this appointment, Mhaskar was with GroupM and was operating for Maxus, Mindshare and Motivator as Head of Commercial. He will report o Sam Balsara, Chairman and MD, Madison Media Communication, and Punitha Arumugham, CEO, Madison Media.

On his new role, Mhaskar said, “The main responsibility is to look after media billing and play a larger role as business partner supporting the media team. I will be in charge of commercial department of Madison of the offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.”

Mhaskar had joined GroupM in 1992, and has been in media since 1989. His other associations have been with Adfactor and Hexaware Technologies. He was on deputation for a short while at the corporate division of Mediaedge:cia.
