Vinod Agnihotri back with Amar Ujala as Consulting Editor

Vinod Agnihotri has returned to Amar Ujala’s fold as Consulting Editor. Prior to this, Agnihotri had worked for one year with Delhi-based Hindi daily National Duniya, where he was Managing Editor. He had quit the paper in March this year.

Confirming the development to exchange4media, Agnihotri said, “This is my second stint with Amar Ujala. My earlier association with the group was in the year 2001 and continued till 2004. I have been a regular reader of Amar Ujala since the early 90s.”

Agnihotri will be reporting to Rajul Maheshwari, Managing Director, Amar Ujala.

Agnihotri was part of the launch of National Duniya in March last year. During his tenure with the paper, National Duniya witnessed various expansions around Delhi-NCR and other states. Most recent was the launch in Meerut.

He had also worked with Nai Dunia as Political Editor, Outlook, and Navbharat Times. He has over 28 years’ experience in the media industry.
