Vikatan Group ropes in Pravin Menon

Vikatan Group has appointed Pravin Menon as National Head – Ad Sales. He will report to B Srinivasan, Managing Director, Vikatan Group. Menon takes charge from today.

His last stint was with Worldwide Media where he was the General Manager (South) – Ad Sales.

Commenting on joining a regional brand from national brand, Menon said, “It’s like finishing 14 years of schooling from Times Group and doing my graduation with Vikatan Group. I have always been in print and here in Vikatan, I have the opportunity to deal with other medium also. That’s a challenge.”

Menon has more than 17 years of experience in the marketing and sales function. He spent 14 long years with Times Group.

Srinivasan of Vikatan Group said, “Pravin is a thorough professional with over 20 years experience including 14 years in sales with the Times Group and WWM. He brings his rich experience in print ad sales to the Vikatan Group, the largest magazine group in Tamil, at a time when Vikatan has been pioneering efforts in digital, mobile and social networking to interact with its audience. We are confident that he will take the group from strength to strength.”
