Vikas Gupta, Company Secretary, Zee Tele and Business Head, ETC, quits

Senior Vice-President (Finance) and Company Secretary of Zee Telefilms, Vikas Gupta, has decided to move on. He was recently also given the additional responsibility of Business Head of the ETC Network in addition to being Director-Finance of the company.

Confirming the development to exchange4media, Gupta said, “I have decided to move on. There is much that I have learnt from my experience at Zee in different disciplines, and now it is time to try something different.”

Though he refused to divulge his next destination due to the “silence period” of his new organisation, Gupta revealed, “I am not going to be in the media side of the business any more, but will be in the services sector.”

Gupta is a qualified cost accountant, company secretary and law graduate. He has had 16 years of experience in corporate affairs and finance function, having worked on mergers, acquisitions, amalgamation and cross border financing projects. He is a regular lecturer of SMTP classes being conducted by ICSI.
