The India Today Group has appointed Vidhu Sagar as Senior GM-Marketing for its Business Division. Sagar moves to India Today from FCB-Ulka, where he was General Manager at its Delhi office. In his new assignment, Sagar will be responsible for marketing the division’s portfolio of premium publications, including ‘Business Today’, ‘Time’, ‘Fortune’, ‘Golf Digest’ and ‘Scientific American’.
Sagar moves to the media marketing world after more than 15 years of successful work in the advertising world. An MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, Sagar began his career with Everest Advertising in the Media Planning division and moved on to Contract, and later on to FCB-Ulka, where he spent the last six years handling a wide portfolio of clients along with business development responsibilities. Some of the brands that Sagar has had rich associations with include NIIT, HCL, Compaq, Hero Honda, Bausch & Lomb, Tropicana, Dabur, ABN AMRO, and ITC – John Players, among others.

India Today Group’s Business Division has recently launched two new publications – ‘Men’s Health’ and ‘Harvard Business Review South Asia’ in addition to ‘BT More’, an add-on to ‘Business Today’.
