UT Ramprasad of Euro RSCG joins Tata Motors

Former Associate Vice-president of Euro RSCG, Delhi, UT Ramprasad, who quit about a month ago, has joined Tata Motors from July 29 as Head - Marketing Communications, according to reliable sources.

At Tata Motors, ‘UT’ would be looking after advertising and communications of the commercial vehicles business unit (CVBU). Basically, he will be responsible for the entire range of advertising for the company’s commercial vehicles product line-up, which also includes the facelift versions of the ‘Pick Up’ category, 407 EX and LPT 909.

During his 12-year career ‘UT’ has worked with TBWA Anthem (now TBWA India), Leo Burnett and Lintas. He has handled prominent brands like Thums Up, Limca, Maaza, Maruti’s Esteem and Versa. Commercial vehicles constitute an integral part of the Tata Motors portfolio.

At Euro RSCG, Ramprasad was involved with the launch of Rajat Sharma's India TV, Cherry Blossom's “Charlie” campaign and the recent brand-building initiative of Radico Khaitan's Old Admiral rum.
