Tushar Shah to quit Sony, on his way to Disney

Tushar Shah, the marketing head of Sony Entertainment Television is on his way out. Earlier this year, Shah was moved from the marketing function of MAX to take the reigns of Sony TV. It is understood that he would be joining Walt Disney Television International (India), replacing the present marketing head, Hema Govindan soon.

Hema Govindan, Head, Marketing & Communication, is nearing the end of her contract with Disney. Sources informed that based on a mutual agreement, the contract will not be renewed and hence limits Govindan’s stint at Disney to June end. She will be with the organisation until the hand over process is completed.

On being contacted both Tarun Katial, EVP and Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television and Tushar Shah offered ‘no comments’.
