TNS appoints John Abraham as Head of Strategic Development and Marketing

TNS has appointed John Abraham as Head of Strategic Development and Marketing, with immediate effect. Abraham will be reporting to David Lowden, Chief Executive, TNS, and will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and leading TNS’ corporate marketing team.

He will also have overall responsibility for the company’s leading Internet solutions division, TNS Interactive. Abraham is the first of two major appointments to support TNS’ new drive to deliver more strategic business insights to clients. The second announcement, which TNS will make in due course, will be the appointment of a new Innovation Director.

Abraham began his career in market research as one of the joint founders of the company that grew to become TNS in India. Most recently, Abraham was Regional Director of TNS Asia Pacific, actively involved in the growth of its business in the region.

Commenting on his new appointment, Abraham said, “I look forward to taking up this new role to help to build our reputation for innovation and expertise. I am confident that TNS will continue to improve its performance across all key markets as we meet the challenge of delivering new thinking to our global clients and sectors.”

Expressing his views on Abraham’s appointment, David Lowden, TNS Chief Executive, said, “John brings with him a wealth of industry experience and an innovative approach to business, and something I regard as being the very lifeblood of any successful company.
