The Integer Group Asia appoints Sreejit Nair as MD for India

TBWA\Group India has announced the appointment of Sreejit Nair as Managing Director for The Integer Group India. A sister agency of TBWA, The Integer Group specialises in promotional, retail and shopper marketing.

Nair will work alongside Shiv Sethuraman, Chief Executive Officer of TBWA\Group India, and Dan Paris, Regional Managing Director of The Integer Group Asia Pacific, in managing the existing TBWA\Group network clients as well as developing a new client portfolio.

“Sreejit has tremendous experience in a wide brand portfolio as well as the growing Indian market and its retail channels. He has demonstrated the leadership essential to drive growth for some of the biggest brand owners in the world. His addition to the senior team in Mumbai is a huge asset as our business grows and diversifies into the fast-growing shopper marketing space,” commented Sethuraman.

Paris added here, “There is no question Sreejit has the depth of category and sales experience to help us drive the business forward in India. His long track record working in blue chip client environments will contribute invaluable experience to The Integer Group across the region.”

Most recently with PepsiCo in India as General Manager – Customer Management, Nair brings with him over a decade of FMCG sales, key account management and trade marketing experience with exposure across multiple categories. He was awarded the highest recognition for top sales associates in PepsiCo globally, ‘The President’s Ring of Honor,’ in New York in June 2010. He has further regional category experience in the modern trade channel, having worked at Procter & Gamble and Henkel on the baby and beauty categories in the Middle East for seven years prior.

Commenting on his appointment, Nair said, “Understanding, analysing and influencing shopper behaviour poses a whole host of challenges to brands in India. In a marketplace where media is highly fragmented, purchase decisions are increasingly influenced at the point of sale. In my time at PepsiCo, I came to appreciate that shopper marketing provides sustainable and cost efficient solutions to both brand owners and retailers while simplifying and improving the shopping experience. I am really excited to join The Integer Group because it utilises this canvas to provide really smart thinking in this space executed through ‘highly disruptive’ campaign work.”
