Synovate’s Gita Ram moves to ZenithOptimedia, Bangalore as VP

Gita Ram, former Research Director at Synovate India, has joined ZenithOptimedia, Bangalore as Vice-president from January 10, 2006. Confirming the news to exchange4media, Ram said, “I am happy to join ZenithOptimedia. I belong to Bangalore and I wanted to shift base there. It’s a challenging move and I look forward to my new venture.”

Ram, who was with Synovate for one and a half years, has worked closely with Unilever brands – primarily tea, coffee and kids’ products – apart from being associated with different qualitative research in various fields.

In the early part of her career, Ram had been associated with specialist QR agency, Quantum Market Research. She had also worked with O&M (Bangalore), Grey (Mumbai), Carat (Mumbai), and OMS, where she was in charge of the Rs 150-crore Samsung account.

Ram has over 16 years’ experience in the industry.
