McCann Erickson may be in the news lately for the loss of talent in their creative department, but there is good news for the agency with two new Creative Directors in its Delhi office. After a brief stint of three months, both Swami Anand Tirth and Vaybhav Singh have quit Dentsu Marcom to join McCann as Creative Directors. Tirth is joining as Creative Director (Art) and Singh as Creative Director (Copy).
Prasoon Joshi, Executive Chairman, McCann Erickson India, said, “Anand and Vaibhav are very bright and I gathered that after spending just 10 minutes with them. I am looking forward to the contribution that they will make to McCann Erickson.” The duo will work with Kaushik Saha, Creative Director in Delhi, who reports directly to Prasoon Joshi.
Prior to Dentsu Marcom, Tirth and Singh have worked at M&C Saatchi, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy Delhi, Grey Worldwide and Enterprise Nexus. They have worked on brands like Hyundai, Nestle, Hutch and Gillette. Their work has been featured in the Luerzer’s Archive and their television commercial for Hyundai Santro Xing made it to the finalists at the Media Asia 2005 awards as well.
McCann Erickson officials have confirmed the development and when questioned, Singh and Tirth replied that they are looking forward to their new responsibilities at McCann Erickson.
