Sunil Shahani to Head Affiliate Relations for Walt Disney Television International (India)

Walt Disney Television International -- India (WDTVI) has appointed Sunil Shahani as Head of Affiliate Relations for Disney Channel, Jetix and Hungama TV. The announcement was made by Antoine Villeneuve, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director, Walt Disney Television India.

Commenting on the appointment, Villeneuve said, “We are glad to announce Sunil’s extended role in the company to further strengthen our TV business in India. We are confident that his expertise and acumen will propel our business efforts in this immensely exciting market.”

Shahani takes on the affiliate relations’ role in addition to his current assignment as Head of Finance for the Walt Disney Company (India). He will work closely with WDTVI-I distribution partner, STAR India to manage all aspects of cable and satellite distribution and network development in the country.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
