Sunil Lulla likely to join Grey as CEO

Sunil Lulla, who has just quit Bennett, Coleman & Co as President – Corporate Development, is likely join Grey India as CEO, according to industry sources. With this, Lulla will be returning to advertising. Earlier in his career he had worked with JWT.

As reported earlier, Lulla had spent around nine years with the Times Group in various leadership positions. He was designated as President – Corporate Development, BCCL in January this year. Prior to that, he was MD and CEO of Times Television Network.

Before joining Times Television Network, he was with Sony Entertainment Television, where he was Executive VP.

Lulla has over 26 years of experience in media, entertainment, technology and broadcast industry. In the early stages of his career, he was with JWT in various positions. In the 1990s, he was General Manager, MTV India. He had also worked with HMV India in the early 1990s. In 1999-2000, he was CEO of indya.com, a global internet venture of Microland.

Lulla is also a member of several industry associations, including a board member of the News Broadcasters Association.
