Sudha Sadhanand joins NGC Network India as Programming Head

Sudha Sadhanand has been appointed as Programming Head for NGC Network channels in India – National Geographic Channel and The History Channel. She moves from Roli Books, where she was Managing Editor.

Commenting on Sadhanand’s appointment, Rajesh Sheshadri, Senior Vice President- Content & Communication, NGC Network India Pvt Ltd, said, “We are happy to have her on our board. With her kind of experience, we will benefit tremendously. She has wide exposure to the media field, which will help both NGC and The History Channel.”

Sadhanand said, “I have always admired the innovative programming which is a trademark of both NGC and The History Channel, and feel privileged to today be an integral part of the programming team at NGC Network. My primary focus over the coming months would be to further enhance the viewer experience on both the channels and drive viewership.”

Sadhanand had earlier worked with Big FM as Programming Head of Delhi. Prior to Big FM, she was with Times Now as its only prime time hostess in Delhi for a show called ‘Upfront’, which was conceptualised and visualised by Sadhanand herself, showcasing the big story of the day. Prior to Times Now, she had stints with DD Metro, India TV and Star Plus.
