Eros International Media, the Indian media and entertainment company has appointed Rajesh Bahl as Chief Digital Officer to spearhead its digital initiatives across all the new media platforms. He would head Mobile, Online, DTH, IPTV, Cable and other emerging platforms here.
In a prepared statement, Jyoti Deshpande, Group CEO & Managing Director, Eros International Plc said, “We are delighted to welcome Rajesh Bahl to the leadership team at Eros India. Rajesh’s experience in music, home entertainment and television made him an ideal candidate to spearhead our digital strategy in India.”

Bahl worked with Star India where he headed the Mobile business as part of Star Digital group. Eros is a strong player in the Indian media and entertainment sector, and is involved in the acquisition and distribution of filmed entertainment content across current and emerging formats including theatres, home entertainment, television and new media.
