Srikanth Raman returns to OMS as Director, Business Development

The native is back to where he belongs. Srikanth Raman returns to Optimum Media Solutions, the media-buying arm of Mudra Communication. Raman is joining as Director, Business Development at a time when OMS is planning to increase its horizons in a big way. “I am excited to be back, and at the right time. Mudra is like home to me. I was part of the OMS start-up team. I am enthusiastic about the aggressive plans we have. There is a new commitment and we want to rock the boat,” he says.

As for his immediate agenda, Raman states, “Plans are big, but to begin with, I want to play my best role in taking OMS to the top-five media agencies in Mumbai, the Mecca of Indian advertising.”

Amit Ray, Executive Vice President, OMS is thrilled to have him back. An enthusiastic Ray says, “Raman was an important member of OMS team and we are glad to have him back in our fold. Specially, at this juncture, when we are all set to change gears.”

Raman had left OMS after a seven-year-long stint in December 2002. He served Carat and Starcom in between his successive spells at the agency.
