Percept Media, the media planning, buying and evaluation arm of Percept Ltd, has brought on board Srikanth Raman as Chief Planning Officer. Prior to joining Percept Media, Raman was with Starcom MediaVest, where he spent six years joining in as Business Director & was General Manager – Research & Strategy when he left the company.
In his role as a Chief Planning Officer in Percept Media, Raman will be responsible for creating differentiated strategic based media solutions for the clients. These state-of-the-art solutions will be sourced from key research and in-depth consumer insights undertaken by him and his team. Over and above developing media solutions for the company, Raman will also be leading the Percept Media’s strategic alliance with Pointlogic, which was announced recently. He will be responsible for overseeing the Integrated Intelligence Services offered under this association for marketers in India.

Raman has spent close to 20 years in the media industry in developing Communication and Media Strategies for Brands. Spending his formative years in strategic planning in Enterprise and Nexus Equity, he joined Mudra Communications as Media Group Head, wherein he spent seven years.
Raman has been a part of the leadership team in all his past organisations, overseeing macro level of communications for clients like Proctor & Gamble, Jet Airways, Asian Paints, Raymonds, Singapore Tourism, LIC, IndianOil, and Western Union, among others.
Some of his awards winning work have been: Silver award for Singapore Tourism - Embedding Entertainment in the TV serial ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’ in Abbys 2008. Bronze award for Western Union - Mobile agent locator in Abbys 2007 and Media Innovation award for Western Union - PHL Sponsorship 2007 by the media magazine - Cream London.
