Sohan Shah roped in as Head of McCann Healthcare India

Over the past decade, the revenue from healthcare communications has steadily grown across all networks. In keeping with this trend and the opportunity that it presents, McCann Healthcare has appointed Sohan Shah as Head of McCann Healthcare India.

Shah is not new to the McCann Healthcare network, having already had stints with the agency in Indonesia, Singapore and India. He is a medical doctor by degree and a marketing communication enthusiast by disposition. On his re-joining McCann Healthcare, Shah stated, “I have come back to McCann Healthcare India to expand the agencies Consumer Healthcare and Medical Communication offering, while consolidating our Pharmaceutical Marketing partnerships. Through these offerings the focus will be on becoming vital partners in our client’s success and in the difference they make.”

In keeping with this outlook, McCann Healthcare India has built a hybrid team with experts in healthcare, teaming up with consumer communications specialists to build an offer that allows the agency to extract deep, relevant insights and bring them to life with effective creative flair.

Meanwhile, Manjunath Hegde is part of this new structure, lending 27 years of communication experience to creating more insightful campaigns at McCann Healthcare. He is the co-founder of Chlorophyll and an expert in brand consulting. He has worked on brands like Complan, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, CRY, Ayush, Ginger, Benadryl and Vicks. He is currently the agency’s National Strategic Director.

PK Anil is the agency’s Creative Head. Anil has 17 years’ experience across McCann Erickson, RK Swamy BBDO and Triton having worked on brands like NDTV, Vaseline, Nerolac, Cathey Pacific, Acqua Guard, Fortune Oil, Moov, Kinley and many more. Anil joins McCann Healthcare India to add more fragrance and flair to the world of healthcare communications.
