Sodexo India appoints Rishi Gour as COO

Sodexo, a world leader in quality of daily life solutions, recently announced the appointment of Rishi Gour as Chief Operating Officer for Sodexo India’s Onsite Services Solutions. Gour will be chiefly responsible for the growth and management of the company’s Corporate, Healthcare and Education portfolios.

Gour joins Sodexo with plethora of experience in the outsourcing and consulting business. An engineer and graduate from IIM Ahmedabad, he started his career in 1998 with Citigroup as an IT consultant. He joined Accenture India as a management consultant in 2001, where he advised clients across various sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Infrastructure and Technology on a range of strategic and operational issues. After this stint, Gour joined WNS Global Services and served the company for eight years in various functions, including business development, program management and operations. At his latest assignment with WNS, he held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations.

Commenting on this appointment, Sunil Nayak, CEO, Sodexo India, said, “We are delighted to welcome Rishi on board with us. He has demonstrated leadership skills over the years and with him joining us, we are confident that he will be able to drive tremendous value towards our business.”

Gour’s appointment is a strategic move by the company to further drive both client and customer satisfaction through integrated solutions that improve quality of life rather than being delivered merely as contractual services.

On joining the company, Gour, COO, Sodexo Onsite Service Solutions, said, “Sodexo is an internationally renowned organisation, with a strategic desire to improve the Quality of Daily Life in the facilities where it operates. As I prepare to move into my new role with Sodexo India, I am very excited to be a part of such a dynamic and motivated environment.”
