Siddhartha Singh joins Salt Brand Solutions

Salt Brand Solutions has brought on board Siddhartha Singh, who will play a key role in shaping the design capabilities of the holistic communications company. He will work closely with Mahesh Chauhan, Co-Founder of Salt Brand Solutions, in managing businesses and building the client portfolio, but, as per the principle of the company, he too will not carry a designation.

Commenting on Singh’s appointment, Mahesh Chauhan said, “In line with the holistic approach of the company, we understand the need for design to be a key element of any communication offering. Sid brings with him not only extensive experience in managing client businesses, but a keen insight into product and communication design. He is also a perfect fit into our culture, with his incredible people skills and relationship with clients.”

Singh moves from Who!, the design arm of Rediffusion Y&R, where he was National Head. Besides heading Who!, he was also in charge of a few key businesses at Rediffusion Y&R.

On joining Salt, Singh said, “For any organisation to succeed, clarity of intent and action are vital. At Salt, there are diverse people coming together, but each member of its team is anchored by a common, distinctive belief and work ethic. To be a part of a set-up and a team that is so completely in unison about what it is driven towards is a dream for any professional.”

Singh has over 15 years’ experience in the advertising industry. Besides Redffusion Y&R, he has previously worked with agencies like Leo Burnett and Publicis, servicing brands like Rasna, Western Union, UB, Nerolac Paints, HDFC Mutual Funds, IOC, and the Arvind Mafatlal Group, among others.

Salt Brand Solutions is a new agency, founded by Mahesh Chauhan and Minakshi Achan, advertising stalwarts, that offers holistic brand solutions. The agency, which became operational from May 3, 2011, recently won the creative duties of Kaya Skin Clinic on the back of a multi-agency pitch.
