Shubha Menon, Executive Creative Director, Innocean Worldwide, has put in her papers. With no concrete plans yet, Menon said that she was waiting for the right offer to come her way. Giving the reason for her decision to quit, Menon said, “I was not comfortable with the agency’s attitude towards creative work and people.”
Menon has 20 years’ experience. She began her career with Lintas, where she worked from 1986 to 1990. She moved to Contract as Creative Supervisor in 1990 and four years later joined Lowe as Unit Creative Director. She was with Lowe for 10 years till April 2004, after which she moved to Rediffusion DYR, where she headed the team working on the Broadband, Telephone and Enterprise Divisions of Airtel. She joined Innocean in 2007 as Executive Creative Director.
Some of the key account that Menon has handled include Maruti Esteem, Xerox, Nestle, Dabur, LG and Airtel, among others. She also wrote the Airtel ‘Baap ko rulaayega kya’ film and was involved in the launch of Wills Lifestyle in India. She had also done the recent world premiere of Hyundai i10.
