Shravan Garg returns to NaiDunia as Chief Editor

Shravan Garg, who had recently resigned from Dainik Bhaskar as its National Editor, has joined NaiDunia as Chief Editor effective April 10, 2012.

For Garg, a veteran journalist, this is homecoming of sorts given that he had worked in NaiDunia from 1981 to 1983 as News Editor. Garg’s move comes immediately after the sale of NaiDunia to Jagran Prakashan Ltd.

It is understood that in addition to Garg’s diverse experience, his experience in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh markets will be of specific relevance in the new role. He brings more than 40 years of journalism experience to the table, where he has worked in English, Hindi and Gujarati publications, holding key positions in various newspapers.

Prior to joining Dainik Bhaskar in 1993, Garg has worked with the Indian Express, Financial Express, Free Press Journal (Indore) and M P Chronicle (Bhopal) in addition to NaiDunia.
