Shivjeet Kullar becomes Creative Mentor at K Factor; Shantomoy Ray elevated to CEO

Shivjeet Kullar has taken on the new role of Creative Mentor after being the CEO and Founder-Creative Director at K Factor for the past four years. Shantomoy Ray, who has been Branch Head of K Factor Delhi, has been elevated to CEO.

Commenting on the development, Kullar said, “I will be focused much more on creative and a lot less on administration. I would be spending more time creating campaigns and supervising films than meeting clients or chasing collections. Shantomoy Ray has been the Branch Head of K Factor Delhi, and to manage the affairs of the agency, he has been elevated to the position of CEO. Shantomoy has been with us from the very beginning and knows our clients and ways of working very well.”

On the recent reports that several big agencies were planning to invest in K Factor, Kullar replied in the affirmative, adding, “There were talks, but nothing has been finalised as of now. We were thinking of taking in funds for expansion, but we have managed that through private equity placement.”

When asked about the investors, Kullar replied that they would prefer to remain unnamed and would not be interfering with the day to day functioning of the company.

Ray added here, “Despite the downturn, our agency is in an enthusiastic mode and we would be announcing further account gains soon.”
