Senior officials on Tata account quit TME

Print buying head on Tata, Vivek Menon has put in his papers at TME. He is joined by Mukund Setlur and Kabir Sen who were also on the Tata account. Setlur was absorbed very recently by the organisation and was put in charge of television buying for the Tata AOR. Which is why, the news of his exit does take one by surprise. This development occurs in close tandem with Tata Motors choosing Lodestar and GroupM for its media mandate.

Ripples on the human resource front, have been a constant feature at TME since the turn of 2004. It seems like yesterday that Himani Kapadia (Associate Vice-President, TME) put in her papers. Other instances would be of Anand Vaidyanathan (Print Buying Head for Tata) who made a quick exit from the agency, at around the same time as Shrivathsa Iyengar (Media Group Head at TME) and Prasanth Kumar (Group Head, Media Buying).

With the rest of the Tata account on infinite hold, TME has a few things to worry about. However, information is yet to pour in from the agency on likely replacements for Menon, Setlur and Sen.
