Times Business Solutions Ltd (TBSL) has announced a number of senior level people movements, along with the creation of two new corporate level positions of Senior Vice President – Corporate & Head of Innovation and Incubation. This has been done in a bid to further consolidate itself in the online classifieds space.
As part of the re-organisation, Vivek Madhukar, who was heading the TimesJobs business, is being elevated to Senior Vice President – Corporate and will now focus on strategic planning and new initiatives.
Madhukar has held several leadership positions in TBSL over the last seven and half years and has contributed significantly to the growth of TimesJobs enabling it to reach the No.1 position. He assumes the responsibilities of business strategy planning, deployment of new initiatives around consumer innovation, competitor strategy mapping and new business ventures.
Amit Jain has been appointed as the new Vice President – TimesJobs, and joins TBSL from Nokia, where he was Head of Product Management for Nokia’s mobile financial services and was responsible for the development & evolution of the ‘Nokia Money’ product in India.
Jain has over 13 years of experience in sales, product management and marketing in FMCG and technology organizations including the bid brands of Asian Paints and Marico. He will be working with Vivek Madhukar and transition into his new role as Business Head.
Sanjay Goyal will take up a new role of Head of Innovation and Incubation, providing greater focus to innovations, conceptualising and implementing new product initiatives, as well as the development of cutting-edge technological applications that will continue to give TBSL’s businesses unique advantages over competition.
Working with TBSL for close to three years, he has played a vital role in enabling TimesJobs to achieve and maintain leadership status over competitors on key site metrics as Head of Technology for TimesJobs.
Ram Awasthi will move on to take up the role of Head of Engineering for TimesJobs and will work with Sanjay Goyal to transition into this enhanced role.
