Senior level exits at Mid Day; Abhhijit Mazumdar made Exec Editor – Mid Day all Editions

Continuing with the churn that media companies are seeing, this time it is Mid Day that has its share of announcements. The company’s Group Editorial Director Shishir Joshi and Editor – Editions for Mid Day, Krishna Warrier have resigned from the company today. Mid Day has decided not to replace the position of Group Editorial Director.

Instead, Abhijit Mazumdar, who was the Resident Editor, Delhi is moving to Mumbai as Executive Editor, Mid Day, All Editions. Mazumdar will report to Manajit Ghoshal, CEO, Mid Day Multimedia.

Confirmed these developments to exchange4media, Ghoshal said that the changes take place with immediate effect.

Shishir Joshi said, “I have enjoyed my stay at Mid Day and I am now ready to move on.”
