Satish Murthy joins Dentsu Communications as GM-Media

Bangalore-based Dentsu Communication has appointed Satish Murthy as General Manager-Media. Murthy joins the Dentsu office on January 16, 2006 and will report to the Executive Director of Dentsu Communications.

Prior to this, Murthy was with MPG, Delhi as Associate Vice-President, where he had worked on brands like Reckitt Benckiser and Mother Diary. At Dentsu, Murthy will begin work on the Toyota business.

Commenting on the new responsibility, Murthy said, “It’s a great place to work and there is a good amount of responsibility to look forward to. Toyota is a prestigious account and I am looking forward to the task ahead.”

In addition to MPG, Murthy has also worked in agencies like Madison from 1995 to 1999. Following this, he has been with Mudra, Saatchi & Saatchi and Enterprise Nexus.
