Sargunan Venugopal moves to Chitra Publicity as President-Marketing

Sargunan Venugopal has moved to Chitra Publicity, an outdoor media house based in Gujarat, as President-Marketing. Prior to this, he was President-Marketing with Sambhaav Media, Ahmedabad, since August 2006.

Commenting on his new role, Venugopal said, “The 75-year-old Chitra Publicity has a presence all across Gujarat. As pioneers in Gujarat, it attracted me and gives me more energy to accept the new challenge. My role here involves placing new teams in position across country and making OOH as the priority medium for advertisers.”

Venugopal has also appointed Atul Kumar Singh as GM-North. Singh will be based in Delhi and will handle agencies and corporate business generated out of Delhi. On this appointment, Venugopal added, “Infrastructure development is highly associated with outdoor advertising business in India. We are confident of more than 30 per cent growth in the coming year. Existing inventory of 3,500 hoarding in the state will be increased to more than 4,000 very soon.”

Venugopal in his 20 years of professional career, Venugopal, who holds an MBA from Nagpur University, has experience working with The Hitavada as Group GM, Navabharat, TVS, Whirlpool, Real Value Appliances Ltd, Haldiram International Ltd, and many other appliances and FMCG companies.
