Sanjoy Ghosh has moved out of Dainik Jagran after a 17-year stint, where he was looking after the entire Eastern India business for Dainik Jagran. He is floating his own NGO, called Daya Moy. April 30, 2009 will be his last day with Dainik Jagran.
On setting up his own NGO, Ghosh said, “I will be running this NGO along with my wife to pursue social work. We must give back something to the society, which has given us so much.”
Prior to joining Dainik Jagran, Ghosh was with BCCL for five years, where he was heading the Eastern operations for the company and reporting to Pradeep Guha, who was then Times Group’s advertising head honcho and President. Before BCCL, Ghosh was with The Statesman for eight years and there, too, he had worked in the marketing function.
