Sanjib Dey promoted as President, Saatchi & Saatchi India

Sanjib Dey, Executive Vice-President, Saatchi & Saatchi Delhi, has elevated to President of the agency. In his new role, Dey will have a pan-India responsibility. He will be based out of Delhi and will continue to work closely with Kamal Basu, CEO, Saatchi & Saatchi India.

Senior sources close to the development have confirmed the news. However, further information was not available at the time of filing this report.

It is also learnt that an internal mail has been sent out congratulating Dey for the well deserved promotion, as quoted in the mail by Basu.

It may be recalled that in February 2008, Saatchi & Saatchi India had effected significant changes in its top management with V Shantakumar assuming the role of Chairman and Kamal Basu taking over as CEO of the agency. It is believed that following Dey’s promotion, more structural changes would be announced soon.

Dey had joined Saatchi & Saatchi in March 2007. Prior to Saatchi & Saatchi, he was with Lowe Delhi as Senior Vice-President. He has more than 11 years’ experience in the business. His previous stints have been with agencies like Capital, Enterprise Nexus and Grey India.
